Dr. Jianyong Liu

  • Dr. Jianyong Liu is now serving as the secretary of Chinese Communist Party in UTSEUS from Sep. 2016. He worked in the human resources office of Shanghai University as a deputy director from 2009 to 2016. Professor Jianyong Liu got his PhD degree in Environmental Engineering from Tongji University in 2003. In August 2005, he moved to Shanghai University. He is a member of the International Water Association (IWA) and the American Society for Microbiology (ASM). He serves for more than 30 international SCI journals as a reviewer. His research interests include energy and resources recovery from wastes, novel environmental functional materials. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in SCI journals with more than 900 citations and H index of 17. He holds 3 National Invention Patents of China. He served as the responsible of many research projects. Now, he is leading 3 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Wang Yong

  • Prof. Wang has more than 20 years experiences on energy batteries and environmental materials. To date, he has published over 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals with more than 16000 citations. He was selected by Elsevier as highly cited Chinese author in 2016-22 and serves as the editorial board member in 8 academic journals. He was also awarded by Shanghai Municipality with Talent-Training award and First Prize of Natural Science.

Tao Xu

  • Tao XU received his PhD in 2009 at the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology (IEMN) in France, where he continued doing a postdoctoral fellowship. He worked in ISEN, a French Engineering school, as assistant professor until he joined Shanghai University. He is actually associate professor in the Sino-European school of technology (UTSEUS) and Key lab of advanced display of Shanghai University. He is deeply engaged in teaching for undergraduate students of UTSEUS (2 specialized courses and 2 French engineering courses). His research interests focus on the physics of semiconductor nanostructures and their applications in optoelectronic devices. He has published over 40 papers in peer-reviewed international journals with a citation over 770 and a H-factor of 14, as well as 2 book chapters and 12 communications in international conferences. He has coordinated several research grants from NSFC, Shanghai municipality and the Nord-Pas de Calais region of France.

Wang Ling

  • ​Wang Ling, Ph.D., Professor, currently serves as the Deputy Dean of the Sino-European School of Technology, Shanghai University. He oversees national-level projects including the National Natural Science Foundation, the Doctoral Program Foundation of the Ministry of Education, key projects of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and multiple projects funded by enterprises. He has published more than 80 academic papers and has been granted or registered for more than 20 intellectual property rights. Collaboratively, he has received the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from the China Instrument and Control Society, and the Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. He has been honored with the title of Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker by the China Simulation Federation and is a recipient of the 'Morning Light Scholar' program in Shanghai.

Sui Pingping

  • Graduated with a Master's degree from the College of Humanities, Shanghai University. Has previously worked at the university's Admissions and Career Development Office, Shanghai Vancouver Film School, and Lisbon Institute. Since April 2024, has been serving as the Student Affairs Director for the Sino-European College.
